PAC, Metro Aviation Enter Brazilian Helicopter Completions Market

March 5, 2013

Metro Aviation, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, PAC International, a market leader in helicopter technical services, announces a marketing partnership with Sierra Aeronautica of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Under the marketing agreement, Sierra Aeronautica, through its CEO, Marcos Braga, will provide marketing and sales leadership for customization of helicopters entering Brazil.

Mike Stanberry, Metro’s CEO noted, “The Brazilian helicopter market continues to outstrip sales of most countries in the world. Metro expects to develop a leadership role in the bourgeoning EMS operations of Brazil, while our subsidiary, PAC International, will serve the ever-present VIP transport segment. In fact, we have signed our first VIP completion project, an Agusta A109 for VIP transport that will be delivered to Brazil by mid 2013.”

Marcos Braga added, “I have conducted an exhaustive investigation of leading USA-based completions centers to support my Brazilian client base and I’m confident that Metro PAC has both the technical leadership and financial strength to provide outstanding service to the end customer.”

Milton Geltz, managing director for Metro Aviation, Inc. stated, “To actively support the Brazilian market and assure quick delivery into Brazil both Metro Aviation, Inc and PAC International have completed applications and undergone onsite audits by Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC) the Brazilian civil aviation authority. Metro has already received its ANAC Part 145 certificate and we expect receipt of the PAC certificate prior to this year’s HeliExpo.”
